New bathroom (Liss)
Rozario Priojects were commissioned by a long-standing past customer to install a new bathroom in his house in Liss.
The project involved the complete removal of all the existing bathroom furniture, including a cast-iron bath which had to be broken into pieces to be removed. Having removed all the old tiles, the room was completely plastered. New copper pipework was carefully installed - no push-fit here! Insulation was installed between the joists to minimise noise that might come down from the bathroom to the room below. The floorboards were then replaced with 22mm marine plywood, onto which wood-effect tiles were put down. The thick plywood should avoid any risk of the tiles flexing without creating a step from the landing into the bathroom. Finally, the room was decorated in the client's chosen colours.
